"CADENZA” is a concert piece for two cymbal players. It includes a theatrical element, humorous in its intent which may or may not be omitted if so desired. The piece also includes a cadenza for one of the players which adds a bass drum and cymbal attachment and a suspended cymbal.
The piece was first performed at PASIC in Atlanta, Georgia in 1994. The first performance is dedicated to Mr. Armand Zildjian on the occasion of his induction into the 1994 PAS Hall of Fame.
