The cymbal hook should be a one time  purchase. The cymbal hook will suspend your suspended cymbal efficiently and allow  every possible vibration to come out unimpeded by a more traditional cymbal stand. The cymbal suspended in mid air, attached by rope to the hook will give years of pleasure and should be in every cymbal players set up. While a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra I always set up two hooks with two different suspended cymbals giving me a smaller suspended cymbal on my right for a higher pitched cymbal played for faster and effective short quick rolls as well as quick soft strokes. The hook on my left could be used to  suspend a slightly larger, darker , stronger and heavier cymbal for the more weighty material.
